Today we have added a new feature on Jah Lyrics: the top 15 charts of Jamaica. The charts exist of 15 "Dancehall" songs and 15 "Reggae" (conscious)  songs. The charts will be updated every week, and when available, the link to the lyrics will appear. The charts are taken from Reggae Vibes.

Besides that, we have added around 50 Beres Hammond lyrics and a few, chart-related lyrics.

Today we have added A LOT of lyrics for Mutabaruka! Over 40! So if you like his poetry, go check it out! More to come in the coming days.

Also, we have added a COMMENT function for the news section. So if you've got some feedback, ideas, suggestions don't hesitate to comment it. Just click 'comment', no registration required.

Maybe in the near future, we might even make this possible on songs..

Dear Jah Lyrics-visitor,

Today we have enhanced the biblical section of the site! For those who are familiar with this section, the difference is easy to notice.
While the references used to be written out automatically, the references now only appear when you click on the links. When you click again, it disappears again.

We've chosen for this way because you now have a much better overview. Before this update, you really could get lost in all the references.

We hope we fixed that though.
Hope it turns out better for everyone, please give us some feedback if you think that is necessary.

Dear Jah Lyrics-visitor,

Today we updated the site again with over 50 lyrics. But there are also three new features on the website.

You may have noticed the first special feature: "Jah Lyrics Quotes", on the main page. Every time you visit the main page, another quote of a random lyric will be displayed. Clicking the artist will bring you to the lyric of the specific lyric.
Have you got any funny, serious, favourite quotes? Contact us, and you may find your submitted quote on the site.

The other two new features are both on the album pages. You can now see the style or subgenre of the album. From Rock Steady to conscious reggae.
The other feature is that you can now view the recorded date of albums.
Both very useful features, that is!

Now the lyrics.
Many new artists have made their debut on Jah Lyrics. One of them is Clinton Fearon, a former member of the Gladiators.
More albums and lyrics of Clinton will be added in the near future!

Other new songs and artists are for Jacob Miller, the Viceroys, the Love Joys and the group Tu Shung Peng.

We have also added lyrics for the album that has been for a few weeks now on the Reggae Billboard spot 1,  Matisyahu's  "Light".

Last, but not least, we want to thank everybody who has contributed over the past weeks. It gave Jah Lyrics the opportunity to upload many, many unique songs that can be found on no other lyric site.
And that is what makes Jah Lyrics fun and unique. Keep it up.
